![]() Facelift is the 3rd annual exhibition by event curators Inkthis. The project showcases a unique typeface featuring 40 individually crafted letterforms developed by both new and established image makers from across the globe presenting a style-heavy blend of type, design, illustration, sculpture, painting & graffiti. The exhibition will be on show between April 22nd and May 9th at the LCB Depot in Leicester. Artist include: Si Scott, Rinzen, Mario Hugo, Nate Williams, Jo Ratcliffe and Masa among others. Lots of pieces by the artist Momo have started popping up around Shoreditch. Check his site for some lovely pieces challenging graffiti and street art standards. Big fan of the tag across Manhattan in particular.

Last night had the pleasure of seeing Pecha Kucha D&AD style with a lot of the top UK digital people sharing. For those that don’t know Pecha Kucha (Japanese for chit chat) is a lecture/sharing format where the speaker has 20 slides at 20 seconds a slide to share whatever they want. Invented and developed by the architects Klein Dytham as a way to get round long boring lectures it’s an excellent format. Now in 120+ cities worldwide I really recommend everyone going to see it. Hopefully they will post some of the footage up soon

40+ Creatives were given the task of creating their own interpretation of a Cult, Classic or Obscure film
poster from the past, whether it be a literal or abstract solution. The result is “Now Showing”, an Art exhibition
paying homage to more than 70 years of film, through the form of Prints, One Off Screen Prints and Sculptures.COSH Gallery, Soho, London, Thursday 29th May, 6.30pm—9.30pm(Ish). RSVP via site.
