Syzygy AG brought a cool concept to a commercial purpose. First I saw it on Zhestkov’s experiments, but when Syzygy applied to the Mercedes-Benz Viano website, it brought a new view to the concept.

Micke Thorsby AKA PMKFA opens his new electric shop, chinned to the K with cloth-based warez. From the press release: This is the way you can purchase our stuff straight from the source [...] We hope you will enjoy what you see on the site [...] we promise not to spam you [...]

A cursory inspection of the site HTML reveals it has been built using Wordpress and a shopping-cart plugin. WP cart plugins are presently thin on the ground; it seems It’s Our Thing have used a heavily customised version of eShop or something different entirely. WP e-commerce plugin is appalling and can destroy a WP install. The other two available don’t exactly blow the doors off. Please somebody write a decent one.
