Alta: The bike for designers
The bike for designers This sexy singlespeed bike is made for people who can appreciate good design. The Alta is unique in that it’s a collaboration between graphic designers, furniture designers, product designers and an ad agency.

Nice But not as nice as mtbcycletech bikes.

Maybe they should have consulted a reputable bicycle designer. Compact geometry is always ugly. Kind of a slap to your own face when you scream about “appreciation for aesthetics”.

And please, learn how to match your damned seatpost to your cranks and stem guys. It’s not that hard to do.

They did. The bike was produced by a Norwegian bike company.

The geometry of the bike is perfect.

These have been on preorder for 2 years now. They need to produce a new colour - black.

Looks damn sexy if you ask me. Good work, Bleed + Norway Says. You guys should do a post with some of the fantastic furniture Norway Says makes.

I have emailed and asked about these but no response as of yet. Shame think they are lovely.

I’ve emailed them as well with no response. Not sure what is going on. Haven’t even heard of anyone owning one and they were announced almost 3 years ago.

I know of someone who bought one and wants to sell but its a medium and I am too tall for it. Want a large. Love the look of those MTB Cycletech ones. The Lux one is amazing.

My god! Those welds make my eyes bleed! That’s just a taiwaneese second hand frame with some color coordinated crap components slapped to it. Anyone could build that bike themselves for a third of that price. This is a bike for nervous over self-concious agency morons who wanna look like a commerial version of a NY messenger. This makes me, as a bike lover so, so sad. And the big thigh campaign is just so old.

You could argue its for people that don’t take cycling like its some sort of religion. As a non expert who likes to ride now and again the world of cycling is pretty intimidating. Everyone has such strong opinions and you get judged a lot about what and how you ride. Its all a bit silly at times.

My bike cost 16 quid from ebay - the gears grind at a nauseatingly audible level, the brakes don’t actually work in the rain and it has a stand which is near falling off but I bloody love it, going downhill is a death trip.

Gradiate, I totally agree with you. I’m a cyclist and I really how the attitude of other riders. A lot of them love to judge other people for what they ride or how they ride. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Keffo’s comment above is a great example of this nonsense. They love to trash people for various reasons but it’s them who are so worried about appearances.

If someone wants to ride a Taiwanese bike that’s playing off of the popularity of NYC messengers then WHO THE HELL CARES. Shut up and ride. Stop worry about what other people do.
