baqref.jpgI’ve just spent the last few weeks redesigning an old typeface I did last year, BAQ Rounded. I’ve spent a lot of time correcting every imperfection, kink, and angle. I’m slowly building up a collection, and some other collections from other designers to launch a type site hopefully by the start of next year. Baq is now available in two styles, BAQ Rounded, and also BAQ Outline. Each face is manually kerned, and includes 255 characters, with all formats, OTF, Postscript etc.

picture-155.pngHaving just stumbed across This Studio, it was very refreshing to see the portfolio installed into the site as seperate select full bleed imagery. Not a huge amount of work, but some really nice bits at This Studio

picture-41.pngSometimes it’s good to look back instead of looking forward, and that’s why I have a lot of respect for pioneers such as 71 year old Lance Wyman. Lance along with others has been one of the many driving forces over the last 5 decades strengthening and challening how an identity works and speaks to its consumers. You can view his site along with an interesting blog here

picture-126.png National Autistic Society are currently doing a lot to raise awareness of the condition and how it affects 1 in a 100 people in the UK. In conjunction with Human Studio, Michael Place of Build has designed a very special T-shirt to support the cause. The ‘London Marathon by Build’ shirt is a strictly limited edition, available for £20 exclusively on-line. All profits from this shirt will go towards fundraising for NAS.

vw.jpg I recently finished working alongside Tribal DDB remotely & in-house on probably the biggest project I have worked on to date. After 6 months of literally knackering work, over 90,000 visual assets, and 90 million possible configurations, I’m chuffed to see the new VW Site go live. Volkswagen.
